How do I stop MO from involuntarily shifting and deleting my data?
While working on my microsoft office document, I ran into a huge problem.
The text boxes seem to have a mind of their own. When I enter characters (letters, numbers, spaces, etc.) the screen jumps, data is erased or deleted, and sometimes funny little characters appear. What should I do? |

Take a course in Word wordprocessing springs to mind, but:
Is this a form? Is it locked? Text boxes having a mind of their own? What does that mean? Data erasing is probably a result of being in overtype mode. Press the INS key once. Funny little characters are probably formatting characters. Press CTRL+* (which is probably how you activated it) or the ¶ button on the toolbar to toggle the display.
