Why is "To" inserted when correcting dictation errors with keyboa.
When dictating to the computer, every time I use the mouse or the keyboard to
edit or erase, the word "To" is added right at the edited (or erased) point. For instance, if I dictated "dollarize" and the computer writes "dollar rise", after deleting the blank space and replacing the "s" with "z", the immediate outcome is "dollarizeTo". What can I do to prevent this? |

G'day "Limi" ,
Sounds like a strange auto-correct entry. Office's speech transcription abilities are rudimentary. If you switch off
your microphone this might not happen. If you really want to do heavy-duty voice transcription I would recommend getting a program such as Dragon Naturally Speaking that does a good job with it. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://www.mvps.org/word which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
