Default after merge my unmerged text is moved around

After I do my merge, the other text in the document is moved around and out
of alignment. How can I stop this from happening?

Thanks,
Kay

Hi ?B?S2F5?=,

After I do my merge, the other text in the document is moved around and out
of alignment. How can I stop this from happening?

Can you give a more precise description of the problem? Since what comes in
via a mail merge is variable in length, the text flow will change, yes. But we
need to understand in what way it is changing that's a problem.

Right off hand, the way these kinds of problems are often solved is to use a
table with "exact" row heights and column widths...
