Default Add-ons question, please!

Windows XP Home
Microsoft Home Office 2002

I want to clear out all the extra add-ons and templates that have been added
to WinWord over time. I think maybe one or more add-ons may be in direct
conflict with and keeping my Word 2002 from operating as it should. What
folders would I find these little trouble makers in? Can I just delete them?
How about the templates? Thanks!
