Default Insert/paste pictures as In line with text, Advanced, not holding

I've gone into Word Options, Advanced, Cut, copy, and paste, and selected In
line with text. But pictures continue to be pasted with wrapping set to In
front of text. This setting will hold. I've tried reparing Word 2007 with no
luck. How can I get this default to stick. Thanks in advance.

When settings won't stick, you could try deleting the Data key in the
registry (exit Word first). For more on this, see

Thanks, Stefan. I deleted the Word Options data key and that did it. Deleting
the Data key didn't resolve it.
