Is there a way to establish a consistant bullet format throughout all my Word
documents? It seems like even through I think I have a default set through
the bullets and numbering, it never stays consistent. I am obviously doing
something wrong, I am just not sure what. If anyone could give me some easy
to follow advice on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Lauren,

The recommended approach is to define a Style (or series of Styles) that has
the desired formatting and use this style in preference to simply manually
applying bulleting to a selection. Shauna Kelly offers some excellent advice
on using bullets at http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/. There's heaps of other
good stuff there as well.
