This option no longer works. It now brings up the "word has encounted
problem and had to close" etc with having to resave doc etc. I have the
option to CTRl+click to follow hyperlinks checked. I uninstalled Word2002
and reinstalled and it worked for only short period but now will not. This
feature is important to me. Please advise how to fix this problem.

What happens if you disable the option. Can you follow the hyperlinks by
just clicking? If this also crashes Word, perhaps there is something wrong
with the hyperlinks?

Disabling option makes no difference. This option used to work and again
worked for short time after uninstalling/reinstalling Word. I am using
WindowsXP and am on cable. It behaves the same with all the hyperlinks, not
just one or two.
