My word program is 97. I want to upgrade my computer but I want to make sure
I will be able to use it before I upgrade. I thought I could get help here
but obviously you don't want to help you want to assume that I am doing some
sort of homework. I guess I will have to look for help somewhere else.

Your question looks exactly like a test exercise question and certainly has
nothing to do with upgrading or being able to use a new version. Your old
shortcuts should continue to work in a new version.

An answer to your question - probably the most accurate one - is that you
cannot remove *all* formatting

Enjoy,

Not to mention that none of those shortcuts would get rid of any kind of
formatting.

Ctrl+Shift+Z does the same as Ctrl+Spacebar on my machine (FontReset)...
Though I wasn't aware of it until just now, and never have seen it
advertised as far as I remember g
