Default Sections breaks built into styles

Is it possible to build a (continuous) section break into a style? It would
surely make my life easier!

Unfortunately, no. This *would* be helpful, wouldn't it? You are not the
first to request it, but section formatting is so complex that I doubt we'll
ever see it happen. The "section break before" property would have to
include instructions for all the information that is contained in a section
break--page size and orientation, number of columns, margins (top, bottom,
left, right, header, and footer), line numbering, whether endnotes are
suppressed, paper tray information, setting of "Different first page" and
"Different odd and even," page borders--the list goes on.
