Default Headers/Footers & section breaks

I have a document that I have tried to create a different header on page 3
and 4 than what is on page 1 and 2. I Have my section break at the end of
page 2 and the header that is on page 1 and 2 went away from page 3 but it
STILL REMAINS ON PAGE 4. I have tried all I know to link the 4th page with
the 3rd page to no avail. HELP!

Go to the header of the first page of the second section, and unclick
Same as Previous.

You must also have "Different First Page" turned on in Page Setup, but
if pp. 1-2 are the way you want them, don't worry about that.

Depends on your version of Word.

2007. I have un-clicked the "Linked to Previous" for the 3rd page and
clicked "Linked to Previous" for the 4th page and the header from the 1st
page still shows up. I had to create a 3rd section to make the header go
away.
