Default Template Limit formatting to permitted styles

We have just refined a template to deploy in house and want to lock it down
so that only the styles we permit can be used. However on using the Limit
formatting to permitted styles it also disables section breaks.

Is there a way to also allow this doesnt make much sence that it would be
disabled!

Regards

Marcus

I do not know why the protection disables that function in the user
interface, but the protection does not preclude the insertion of a section
break by the use of vba code:

Selection.Range.InsertBreak wdSectionBreakNextPage

You could create an add-in that had macros to insert each of the various
types of section breaks and have buttons for them on a toolbar that you
create in the add-in

Hope this helps.

Strangley, just to add ALT + I + B allows you to add section breaks, page
breaks to a limited degree :0
