I am having an issue in Word 2003 where I create a hyperlink to a valid file
on a network drive (that I have permissions to), save the file, then when I
open the file again, the hyperlink is invalid. the link is changed to
something like this:

...\..\..\corpdata\notepad\2005\slovanianvisitorph otos.mht

Not only is the ..\..\..\ there, but the network destination folder names
are different as well.

What's causing this?

This is also happening to co-worker of mine.
