Repeat Heading 1 section titles in header
hi
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum or has been answered before - but after searching i cannot find an answer. What i want to be able to do is repeat a H1 heading in the page header of the page where the ''topic' starts and all subsequant pages untill the next 'topic' starts. For example Page 1 Topic 1 - header = Topic 1 Page 2 topic 1 contineus - Header = Topic 1 (cont?) Page 3 Topic 2 - header = Topic 2 even if Topic 1 continues part way down page Page 4 Topic 3 and Start of Topic 4 - Header = Topic 3 Page 5 Topic 4 ends (end of document) - Header = Topic 4 I hope this is clear... The idea is to follow the same sort of layout as found in programming books.... Thanks for any direction on this. SpamDelux |

This is, in general, what the StyleRef field does, but it will pick up any
new text in the style on a given page, so it would give you Topic 2 on the page where it starts even if Topic 1 continues on that page. -- Suzanne S.
