Why do white bands appear in graphics in Word 2002?
Since transferring Office XP Professional from my old computer running
Windows 98 to my new one running Windows XP, any graphic I insert in Word 2002 gains white horizontal stripes when I scroll. They disappear if if use Print Preview and then close it. I have uninstalled Office XP and reinstalled it without curing the problem. |

Re-installing Office rarely achieves anything useful and in this case you
are aiming at the wrong target. The problem is almost certainly attributable to the display driver. You need to update the driver (if an update is available) and/or reduce the display hardware acceleration. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Davidw wrote: Since transferring Office XP Professional from my old computer running Windows 98 to my new one running Windows XP, any graphic I insert in Word 2002 gains white horizontal stripes when I scroll.
