Default Is it possible to link to a particular page within a Word doc?

I'd like to be able to have a link on my desktop that opens to a particular
page in a word doc. I do have a TOC set up, if that makes a difference.
Using Word 2000 SP-3.

I can't tell you how to have a link to a certain page, but if you want a link
to the document on your desktop, just navigate to where the document resides
on your hard drive and right-click on it and select Send to | Desktop. You
will then have a shortcut to the document on your desktop. You could then
select the document on your desktop and drag it it to your start button and
hover there for a second and then drop it at the top of your start menu
(above the horizontal line). I hope this has been helpful to you.
