Default Add File to word doc as attachment in email

This question was asked on 11Dec 06. Answer was clear and concise, great to
know but it does not seem to work for a video file as it does in emails. Is
this asking too much. Snoopy

So exactly what do you want to do? Send a video file as an attachment to
an email message? Maybe the problem is that the file is too large.

Hope this helps.

Perhaps you hit the nail on the head here Doug, video too big to send as an email attachment, is there a common limit to the size of attachments or does it vary between servers or the speed of one's broadband package? Thanks, great learning curve this forum. Snoopy.

Treat e-mail as a means of sending simple messages or small files around
(say) 1mb max, and remember that not everyone has broadband. It only became
available in my village around the summer! Many people, myself included,
have filters that discard any messages with attachments.

To exchange video files, which can be many megabytes in length, use Windows
Messenger, one of the specialised file exchange apps, such as TribalWeb, or
simply burn it to CD/DVD and stick it in the mail.
