Word 2000 - Template
I've now designed a new template and created a new ruler (purely for this
template) to which I have attached two macros and two autotext entries. When I email this template to a colleague, the template she receives is fine but she does not have access to the ruler and is therefore unable to use the macros / autotext entries. How can I overcome this? Regards Sandra -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...ayout/200601/1 |

Word 2000 - Template
Presumably you mean a toolbar rather than a ruler? If you have not
specifically saved the toolbar, macros and the autotext entries in the template, they will be stored in normal.dot. Use the organizer to move the custom toolbar, macros and the autotext entries to the template and e-mail it again. Note that macros are not stored individualy but in modules. If you have not created modules to save them in, then they will be in the newmacros module. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Sandra via OfficeKB.com wrote: I've now designed a new template and created a new ruler (purely for this template) to which I have attached two macros and two autotext entries.
