WORD 2008 Page Border not square
After considerable testing we have determined that the page border feature in
Word 2008 has the following problem. It is not square. You don't notice on the screen so much but you do when printing. We have measured and remeasured. We have compared it to the same border previously printed in word 2007 and XP and 2004, which are square or close enough. How can we get this fixed? |

WORD 2008 Page Border not square
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the link. I did post it there and will look there for Mac answers in the future. By the way, I found out if I took the same document I created in Word 2008 and printed it in word 2004 it displayed and printed correctly, i.e., square. Weird, huh? grumpy old trout "Bob Buckland ?:-)" wrote: Hi Grumpy, You may want to also post this in the Office:mac Word discussion group using the link below including a set of steps to produce the problem issue. =========== "grumpy old trout" grumpy old wrote in message ... WORD 2008 Page Border not square
Are you printing on the *same* printer? This sounds like poor paper handling
by the printer. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org grumpy old trout wrote: Hi Bob, Thanks for the link. WORD 2008 Page Border not square
We thought that at first also. But, yes... we used the same printer. In
fact, we took the document created in Word 2008 and opened it in 2004 and printed it to the same printer and from the same computer with the same printer driver and it was square. We also started with fresh documents in Word 2008 and the page borders were not square. Page borders in documents created in Word 2004 were square. It is visible to the eye and definitely clear when a right angle is put to the page. "Graham Mayor" wrote: Are you printing on the *same* printer?
