I havew posted twice to this newsgroup since Saturday and neither has
appeared. This is a text post to see if the Newsgroup is up and running
again.

I note that there appear to be no postings in this newsgroup in that time
period.

This newsgroup is hosted on an NNTP server msnews.microsoft.com (see
http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm ) and is linked to an assortment of web
forums. The Microsoft web forum is unreliable and has been subject to all
kinds of disruptions for months. Microsoft, in its wisdom, wants to get rid
of the NNTP server in favour of a purely web based help forum (which would
have the effect of driving many MVPs away, as life is too short to mess
around with clunky web forums), but at present we have the benefit of it and
you can access it directly.

The link has been down over the weekend and at the time of writing I have
not checked to see if it has been restored. When it is the missing posts
usually show up.

If you have no NNTP access because of company restrictions, you should find
your posts at Google groups.
