Default Can I have (now) as the default value in an ASK field ?

I have a document with ASK fields. One is for the date. Can I use (now) or the equivalent for the default value, I want to have today's date as the default value ?

I have Word2003, thanks

You can use a date field e.g.

{ ASK MyDate "Enter Date" \d { Date \@ "d MMM yyyy" }}

Use CTRL+F9 for each of the bracket pairs and apply a formatting switch to
suit local tastes in place of "d MMM yyyy"
