Default Using Mailmerge document as data source for labels

In Office 2003, is there a quick way to use a Mailmerge document as a data
source for labels instead of a spreadsheet?

I have an excel list of 600 customers and I use mailmerge to create letters
for each of them. I would like to be able to print labels directly from that
document instead of having to create labels through Excel.

So basically, I am looking for a way to make the process
spreadsheetmailmergelabels instead of
spreadsheetmailmergespreadsheetlabels

Thanks for any help.

See the article €śMailmerge Labels with Word XP€ť on fellow MVP Graham Mayors

Or are you saying that in a single mail merge operation, you want to create
a letter and a single label for each customer. Think for a moment how you
would print the labels.

On the other hand, it is feasible to add a envelope to your letter mail
merge main document and create an envelope for each letter at the same time
as the merge is being executed, but you will need a pretty fancy printer to
be able to do that.

Hope this helps.
