See http://www.randyrants.com/sharpkeys/

Use sharpkeys to re-assign the function of the Caps Lock Key

On my PC, it is an option in the Logitech mouse and keyboard settings
utility. If you don't have that option, follow Doug's link to randyrants.

If it happens -- you can always go to the Format Menu (someone will have to
advise where it is in 2007) -- and use the Change Case options to convert an
ALL CAPS block of text back to a "normal" block of text.

In Word 2007 go to Word Options and chooses Auto Correct. Under the Auto
Correct tab there is a choice for "Correct accidental usage of cAPS LOCK
key.

There is a registry setting that allows you to do this on WIndows POS
(aka VISTA) as well. I have the cap lock disabled on all my machines.
