I must be missing something. In my document the object item under Format

Stop background image shift on page margin adjust?
By object I mean Picture, Text Box, WordArt, or whatever your watermark
is. In other words, whatever it is, when you double-click on it, you should get a Format dialog for it that will have a Layout tab with an Advanced... button. -- Suzanne S.
