I am trying to put together a paper with pictures and instructions. The
pictures print just fine, but the text will not show upon printing.

Hi lwilkerson,

Make sure your text isn't formatted as 'hidden'. Alternatively, get Word to
print hidden text via Tools|Options|Print.

If your text is in text boxes, make sure you have "Drawing objects" checked
on the Print tab of Tools | Options.

I wonder if s/he can see the print when highlighted? If so, the font
color should be changed.
