Right margin
If a image is placed in the word document such that it exceeds the right
margin and in the print preview only the part of the image is visible on the page, then if that document needs to be printed then the whole image is sent to the printer and printer should clip the image or only the part of the image that is visible on the page is sent to the printer. |

Right margin
Hi ?B?Y3VyaW91c1A=?=,
I assume this is meant as a suggestion to Microsoft? They won't see it unless you click the "Suggestion" button... FWIW, I wouldn't vote for this suggestion. Fairly often, one does position "objects" in the margin. Parts of letterheads, for example. Or margin notes. If your suggestion were implemented it would break a lot of documents and make Word less useful, generally. Right margin
I think the intent of this "suggestion" is actually the opposite. Often
users want to be able to tile an image over several pages. This would be possible if Word would allow you to place an image partly off the page (as Publisher does), but in Word if you try to drag it off the edge, it snaps back. If it is too large for the page, it is resized to fit. -- Suzanne S.
