update linked information
I have someone who wants to update information in one document and have it
update 2 other documents. I'm unfamiliar with how the linking process works when information is updated. I have used links to other documents that don't update. All three documents have tables in them. The 2 that he wants to update have the same table structure as far as columns but the rows are different. Is this something that can be done? Are there any good references available for doing this? Ellen |

The basic technique is to use an IncludeText field in the other 2 documents
to pull info from the document that will be updated. You'll find guidelines he http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFm...textfields.htm On 9/20/05 12:30 PM, "Ellen" wrote: I have someone who wants to update information in one document and have it update 2 other documents.
