Default how do i move my image around the page in word

i am trying to move my image from one place on the page to another but it
isnt allowing me, i have word 2003 and didnt have this problem with the old
one i cant seem to find a setting that allows me to do so .

Default how do i move my image around the page in word

If you have inserted the image in line then it behaves as a large text
character. You need to chnage the layout property to one of the other
options in order to drag it around. The default insertion mode can be
selected from tools options.

Default how do i move my image around the page in word

Click on the picture to display the Picture toolbar. Click on the Text
Wrapping button (dog icon) and choose a wrapping style other than In Line
With Text.

Default how do i move my image around the page in word

If you double click on the image another box will appear, click on the layout
tab and then click on Behind Text and Center, click on Ok. When you get back
to the image a cross will appear which means you can now move the image where
you want it.
