Default I have a space in a word between 2 letters and can't fix it.

When typing a word document the word seems correct 'GENERAL' when looking at
it in print preview or any other view. When the page is printed however, it
prints like 'GENERA L' with a space between letters. It is not just on one
word it is through out the document.

Assuming there's nothing to indicate the space with nonprinting characters
displayed the next thing to look at is the printer & its software. In the
printer properties make sure that you're using high quality and that Word's
print options aren't set to Draft.

If that isn't the issue check the printer mfr's web site for a driver
update. If there isn't one available uninstall then reinstall the current
printer driver. Should the new/reinstalled driver not resolve it you may
want to see if there is any solution offered through their FAQs or
support... Or it could be that the printer requires service.
