Default how to link a bookmark to an existing file using a hyperlink

i would like someone to explain to me how i do this. because i would like to
link a diagram from one document to another file.

Default how to link a bookmark to an existing file using a hyperlink

Please clarify what you want to do -- your subject line says "link a
bookmark" but your text says "link a diagram".

In either case, you should be able to select the item you want to
link, then go to Insert Hyperlink and select the document you want
to link to.
