Word 2007
I was wondering if there was a way that I could format certain words whenever
they are typed in a document. For example, when I type the work "red" it will show up red and bolded. If anyone knows if this is possible please let me know. Thank You. |

Go to Office button Word Options Proofing AutoCorrect Options. The text should already appear in the With box. Just above that box, click the "Formatted text" option. The text should now appear as its formatted version. Click in the Replace box and enter a "name" for this entry. It can be the same word (for example, red) or something that won't be mistaken for ordinary text (for example, \rd). Click OK. If you're prompted to save the Normal.dotm template the next time you close Word, say yes. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
