Default Lost words

I have typed 5 hours of words to a book I am writing. I clicked on "Save As"
and assumed it would be saved as I have done many times before. But it was
not. I have tried recapturing the text but to no avail. Is there a way I can
recover the lost words? Thanks for your help.

Default Lost words

Try Word, open, then select My Recent Documents. Hopefully you can find it
in there under the name you entered when you did the "Save As".
