Word will not allow me to delete text I have selected
I have just installed Office 2003. For some reason, when I select text, the
delete key will not delete it, and I have to use the cut function. On my other machine, delete selected text works fine. How do I change the setting so it will work on this machine? |

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two boxes for
WordPerfect help and navigation | OK. "Norm" wrote: I have just installed Office 2003. For some reason, when I select text, the delete key will not delete it, and I have to use the cut function. Thanks. I can't believe it was something so simple. I couldn't remember
what editing change I had made that would cause this deleting problem all of a sudden.
