Default Problem With the Office 2007 Migration Manager

I have Windows XP SP3. I recently uninstalled Office XP and replaced it with Office 2007. So far, so good.

Now I want to bulk convert all my existing binary format Word and Excel files to the new Office Open XML format. I have installed the Migration Planning Manager and the File Format Converters. My ofc.ini file is unchanged from the default, with one exception: I added a line at the bottom to tell the utility where to find the files I want to convert. That line is:

fldr=D:\My Documents

I should explain that I moved My Documents from its default location to my D: drive. I did this years ago, without any trouble.

Here's my problem: When I run ofc.exe from the command line, no files are converted. Not a single one. And no log file was created. Obviously, I'm doing something wrong. How can I make this work?

Thanks for your help.

Daddy
