Default Date not updating to the current date on a Networked Word Template

I have a machine that is running Microfot Word XP that when it opens Word
Document Templates on our Network, but it does not change the date to current
date.

It works on other machines in the office running Word XP, but not this
particular one.

Thanks!

Don't open the template, create a new document based on the template. Then
the CreateDate field in the template will update.

Hi,

According to the user this is not acceptable because it works on other
machines by opening up the template and it worked that way on his old machine.

Thanks,
Eric

Good luck. That you user wants to use templates in a way that they are not
designed for is up to that user.
