Default can current date be automatic on document template when loaded?

I need to have the current date of my lease agreement template automatically
change when the document is loaded (all 4 pages)

Insert a DATE field using Insert | Date and Time or Alt+Shift+D. A better
choice, for a template, however, is a CREATEDATE field, which will
automatically have the current date for new documents based on the template,
but the date will not update when the document is opened later.
