Default Header with Merged Fields

Hi,

I have created a merge letter. On the second page I have the following
within the header:

Mr. John Jones
ABC Company

I need the person's name to be flush left and the company name to be flush
right. The only problem is, each header is going to be a little different as
the information contained within the header is being merged from data fields.
Right justifying won't work - neither will left justifying. My boss had the
same letter with headers in Word Perfect and he just had it coded as flush
right....I cannot figure out how to get headers which to fit perfectly over
the body of the letter. Any advice?

Thanks.

If I understand you correctly, you want the contact name flush with the left
margin and the company name on the same line flush with the right margin?
That being the case put a right aligned tab on the right margin and press
tab between contact and company.

Set a right-aligned tab at the right margin and insert a tab character
between the name and the company. Actually, the built-in Header style by
default already has a right-aligned tab at the right margin (provided you
haven't changed the margin) and a center tab in the center. For your
purposes you may need to remove the center tab.
