A virus-laden document has wrecked my Word 2003. It won't let me.
A virus infected Word document made it past my freshly-updated Norton
Antivirus. My version of MS Word 10.0 is from my MS Works Suite 2003. When I start up MS Word, it goes directly into Install mode, then starts up the program. I have run my Norton anti-virus again with no virus detected, but I fear the virus is still there. I tried to uninstall MS Word using my original disks and Control Panel, but the virus won't let me uninstall and reinstall MS Word. So I'm stuck. Any ideas of how I can resolve this situation?
