Default viewing headers, footers, footnotes, etc while using a blue backgr

I can't see information contained in headers, footers and template boxes if
I've selected white on blue in Tools -options. Is ther anything that can be
down so all the text in the blue document canbe seen same as in the white
defult view?

I tried this in both Word 2000 and Word 2003. The white-on-blue option
has absolutely no effect on whether the headers/footers are visible.
What does make a difference is whether you're in Print Layout view --
where the headers/footers are visible -- or in Normal view, where they
are not visible. Also, text boxes and floating graphics are not
visible in Normal view.

Default viewing headers, footers, footnotes, etc while using a blue ba

Thanks for the reply and reminding me about checking the layouts--this
question is actually one I posted for someone else. I tested it out with
switching back and forth between the different layout views. I could see all
headers, footers and footnotes in both backgrounds in Print layout in my
test. Apparently they could not see footnotes in Word 2003 but they could in
2000. So either this is an isolated incident or there is something else
causing this. I think at this point, the end user needs to do some more
testing and I need to ask more questions. thanks again!
