Default Spell Check disabled on protected form

Word 2003
Windows xp

Is it normal to have the spell check feature greyed out on a protected form?
User wants to spell check (not sure why).

Thank you.

Yes, it is normal. There is a way to enable it, but it involves some work
with a macro. See

Thank you Jay.

Jay..do you have a "HowTo" tutorial on how to create macros..I don't know
where to put the codes in and I see "macro fixes" constantly.

Thanks again!

On the same site there's
