Word 2003 extra HTML code
I have been using Word 97 to open attachments which I then save as HTML and
open in Dreamweaver. This works well, with a bare minimum of tags. I cannot figure out any way to save documents in Word 2003 without adding a bunch of unnecessary HTML. I tried saving as Single Page web file, using Dreamweaver's Clean up Word HTML feature, etc., but I'm always left with extra code. Is there any solution? |

Hi ?B?TUI=?=,
I have been using Word 97 to open attachments which I then save as HTML and open in Dreamweaver. Have you tried changing the settings in Tools/Options/General/Web options? Also, there used to be an HTML filter tool. I think you can still d/l it from microsoft.com. If you don't have Word 2000 installed it won't install. But you can still extract it and run it directly (it doesn't require a registry entry or anything like that).
