I want to create few custom variables like 'CompanyName' 'ProductName'
'SalesRep' and want to use these variables on multiple places of documents.

So when i change the variable it should be update in all places of document
whereever it used.

Hope you understand the problem

Murtaza

PS: I tried Refrencing, but refrencing apply the formatting too.

Not quite enough info about what you are trying to do....

This page might help:
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Repeating_Data.htm

Defining custom fields in the Properties and then using DocProperty fields
might work.
