footer on 1st page of 1 page doc, but not on 1st page if 2 page do
I would lilke to know if I could set up a footer that would be present at the
bottom of the first page of the doc, if the doc was one page. If the doc is 2 pages, I would like the footer to be only on the 2nd page. I have experimented with different layout options, but can't seem to find the right combination. |

What should happen if the document has three pages (or more)? If you are
saying that the footer should be on the *last* page of the document, use this field construct in the footer: { IF { PAGE } = { NUMPAGES } "insert contents here" } To insert each pair of field delimiters, { }, press Ctrl+F9. Press F9 to update the selected fields. To show/hide field codes, use Alt+F9. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Diane" wrote in message ...
