You cannot mix page sizes in a single document.

Of course you can! Just insert a section break, then change the paper size
in the new section. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Terry Farrell" wrote in message ... That doesn't work for me... I wonder if it is printer driver related? I can
certainly switch orientation, but it lets me change page size (A4 to Letter), but then reverts when I close and reopen the document. Terry "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... I don't know. Certainly works for me here. You might have to make sure that
the paper source (drawer, tray) is not set to some specific one that contains only one size, as opposed to "Default tray (Auto Select)." -- Suzanne S. Works OK here to (with a pretty basic printer as the active printer).

Right on Suzanne. It is because A4 is in the (default) front tray, whilst
the back tray is empty (because it is for special paper/card, or other non-default sizes, etc). If I load A5 into the back tray, I can then successfully change between A4 and A5 and it sticks. I think the printer/driver is being a bit too clever. Terry "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote in message ... I don't know. Certainly works for me here. Sounds like it. I suspect if the tray setting in all sections were "Auto
Select," you wouldn't see the problem. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA http://word.mvps.org "Terry Farrell" wrote in message news Right on Suzanne.
