True. I suppose one could use a macro that taps into the DocumentBeforePrint event to force the page setup back to what it's
supposed to be. That'd fix 'em.

You could insert a macro like the following into the document's template:

Private Sub FilePageSetup()
MsgBox "Sorry, that option is not allowed with this document", vbExclamation
End Sub

The above macro intercepts the FilePageSetup action.
