TOC Frame Linking to Locations in Frame in Same Doc
Howdy,
I'm sure this must be simple, but I cannot create a TOC frame on the left that will hyperlink to corresponding locations in the "main" frame of the same document. When I click a link in the TOC frame I make, it just goes to some spot on the top of the doc. I can't create or edit the hyperlinks in the TOC frame to go anywhere besides somewhere within the same frame. Confused. |

TOC Frame Linking to Locations in Frame in Same Doc
Me Again, Sorry...
What I'm really trying to do here is create an instruction document that will be browser-based, with a static TOC on the left. I don't care if it isn't an official TOC Frame; I'm just interested in function. It seems that frames constitute actual documents themselves, which would be impractical for my purposes (too many documents to track and control, etc.). Any suggestions on how to create a static TOC on the left using Word (2003) in a browser? Many, many thanks in advance.
