insert document number
Is there any way that Microsoft (or a macro) can assign a number to a (Word)
file upon closing. I work with contracts that are modified numerous times by numberous people. I need to ensure that when they bring me a revision that I will be revising THEIR version of the docment and I need that document number printed in the footer. I do this manually but it is becoming cumbersom and if I make a change to a document and forget to change the number it becomes a nightmare. The Revisions feature does not work for me. I am using Word 2003 |
