I remember a few computers ago there was an option under a microsoft word tab
to aquire a document from a scanner. Now that I have a new computer and have installed word I cannot find it. How can I scan a document and get it to open up in word? I have word 97. |

That option would have been put there by the scanner software, not Word.

You can, however, scan a document in as a picture. Go to:
insert/picture/from scanner or camera You would need to use OCR software to convert it to something you can edit, though.
