Can someone please tell me what is going wrong with my computer? After
logging on I am not able to open any programs on the desk top, I keep
clicking on the mouse but it does not execute the order to open the programs.
The mouse does worked. I am thinking I may open a virus. Please help!

Don't be silly. a) this is a Word forum, and b) there's no way to diagnose a
computer fault like this from a simple description. Take Bring your computer
and someone competent into propinquity.

Or perhaps shout "propinquity" very loudly at the computer several times.

I've yelled at my computer once or twice and I can honestly say that I've
never shouted "propinquity". Maybe I'll try that the next time. ;-)

You have to do it with a Silesian accent, carrying a garlanded sceptre (and
we know you have one of those on your office).

Of course I do. It came with my computer. I know - that means it's an OEM
and can't be transferred to another computer but I can use if for an
upgraded sceptre.
