font sometimes changes appearance in a linked excel file in word
Why does the font (ariel 11 in both) look difference some of the time when I
copy, paste special and link a part of an excel 2007 worksheet into a word 2007 file. it says the font is the same but in the excel part is appears on the screen and prints like it stretched out or squshed down. |

Did you change the size of your Excel file by dragging a handle in the
middle of a side? Only change the size by dragging on a corner -- that changes the height and width simultaneously. It rather depends on which type of link you have pasted. If you paste as the
default HTML format then provided you don't want to scale the inserted link it will look exactly the same as it does in Excel. If you want to scale the linked segment then use the Bitmap option. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "jnine" wrote in message news Why does the font (ariel 11 in both) look difference some of the time when I copy, paste special and link a part of an excel 2007 worksheet into a word 2007 file. it says the font is the same but in the excel part is appears on the screen and prints like it stretched out or squshed down. |
