dvorak-type keyboard layout
I don't know that Dvorak is better for hunt & peck. I suspect that having
whatever is shown on the keyboard is fastest for that. Dvorak is designed for touch typing. (I use a Dvorak keyboard layout.) On the other hand, Dvorak is designed to alternate hands more than the QWERTY layout. For hunt & peck, though, you need to be able to see what you are hunting for. You would need to change your keycaps or get an actual Dvorak keyboard. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
